What do the BBC want from you? Salad Fingers is BBC Three quality in my opinion, it is one of those cartoons that reaches out to people. Its not mindless either, it has a very humbling storyline.

6 flashes? that kind of pressure can eat a man alive and join the maggots in eating him when he is dead too. Despite what some folks say about the BBC, they do put out some high quality stuff over the years. I'd say, put most of your effort into the BBC work and be a bit more sporadic for the Playboy stuff. I mean cumshots, blowjobs and facials... does it really need much effort, unless you're planning to do a Ren and Stimpy type close up of bukkake scenes.

If you ever feel that it is hard work though, just cast your mind to scenes of long hours in a warehouse on despatch duty, that is a nightmare, especially when you get a knife put to your throat... that happened to me. I gave up 9 to 5 work after that moment and decided that even if I am homeless, hungry and dying... At least I will be able to spend all my time working on stuff that I enjoy doing, which is writing, script-writing. You should look [and you probably do] at your skill as a blessing, you can work on your terms, you are warm and safe and you are freely able to express animation as a medium for anything you so desire.

Be a cartoon whore, be George Whorewell's bitch because in the end my friend... you know it will pay off big time.

I'm sorry you're not having fun making your ~animations. Don't rush yourself too much, take some David time and chill. I love all of your animations, scrappily done or not. I'm in love with your most recent, "Dog of Man". Good stuff, man. You're like, the biggest inspiration in my life, to be honest. Keep up the good work, don't stress yourself out too much, enjoy doing Playboy animations, as well as BBC cartoons.
