Hi.
I love your stopframe videos.
The best is hell !
mmm.
And you are making this on flash or monkeyJam or something else.
Cause when i made stopframe on flash it is very slow, adn loading takes very long time.
I love your third picture, do you made this doll ?
Pictures are good, then movie gone be perfect.
Good luck Doki.
:)

Looks fantastic, can't wait.

You could take the swf from Aftereffects and import it into flash, add a preloader, and then publish it again.
Just an idea, I'm not sure what the file size would be after all that.

That looks so fucking good it's ridiculous. You're good witha camera. Some really beautiful shots in there. I'm looking forward to seeing this project :D

Your podcast is fun to listen to.
The effects you use make my ears confused, but I like it.

Also, the pictures look interesting.

What Camera are you using? I am pleasantly surprised at how professional this looks. I love this one: <a href="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y31/doki66/IMG_0589.jpg">http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y31/

PS. Take me now, Firth!

Canon EOS 350d

This is looking beautiful, very much like Jan Svankmajer.

c'mon! Put Hull on the map!

I'm from Doncaster and I live in Leeds these days.

I look forward to this. Although I hope the flash animation hasnt gone on hold...

Looks scary...can't wait for it!

Flash supports H.264 these days, so you'll be able to get the video looking spiffy even at an NG sized file. Should be as simple as hitting the import video option in Flash CS3, whacking it on the timeline, working the usual preloader magic and publishing.

Thanks Flash Bros. I might contact you for assistance when I get to that stage if that's OK?

I use a program called Total Video Converter. It converts any video file to any video file (including .swf). Hope that helps.

wow, you really lucked out. i'm jealous.

How are you taking these frames? Do you take them all with the camera then import them, or are you using some kind of framegrabber setup? They look really nice, can't wait to see it.

Many stop-motion programs are including support for digital SLR cameras these days. I can adjust almost any setting on my camera from my computer just through USB, as well as being able to take frames and run a time lapse sequence. All the frames are auto numbered and when I've taken them I just import them into premier as image sequences.

Not many people can say their inspiration and supplies come from a garage. I'm looking forward to it, looks like it'll be even creepier than "hell."

Getting a bit angry now though, I haven't even heard anything about Jerry Jackson in a while. I'd like to see a new "car22n" from him.

Looks pretty standard David Firth Work...Creepy, eerie, strange, bizarre, unique, funny, true, twisted, unpredictable, and awesome.

Can't wait to see it!

Dave, whens trumpet fingers out?

I'd be happy to lend a hand, if you end up needing it. Just let me know

Tom-

the 4th picture down is great! looks like some of the weird crap i make out of junk, awesomeness. junk is always fun to work with, its usually better than new materials anyway. i wanna see that thing move! don't keep us waiting too long, ok?

YAY!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!
