I loved almost everything about it, the improved animation was surprisingly not a bad thing, you kept it in style. The story was again confusing and creepy but i actually WANTED to understand it and it kept me paying attention.
What i didn't like is how much is how much SF talked and how well he did.
What I mean is, what made SF so great is how he talks to slowly and creepy, and how most of the time it didn't seem like even he knew what he was saying. He felt like a child, always changing his mind. Here he talked a lot more often and his sentences were more organized and linked together.

I like how you keep bringing up the Great War, that plays a gigantic role in all of the theories behind SF. Great job, i hope part 10 isn't a longer wait but when it's your quality it's worth it.

it was a little scratchy and kinda screwed ( I mean wehre is the eeri background tune from las time?)

but it was kinda enjoyable..or something like that.

Didn't understand the Endpart with the Oil-Baby Thingy, wich SF's was cleaning up (..) the Window....

What is up with that?

I love Salad Fingers. But I must be moved to say, nonjudgmentally, unoffensively, that there's been an absence of a very strong psychedelic, schizophrenic, borderline demonic vibe after episode 6. Ever since 7, there's a palpable change in the EQ levels on the DISTURBING spectrum. Not a bad thing. Just interesting. SF seems more expressive and in less of a cognitive haze.

Great one, David. I've been watching your cartoons since you've made them. I hadn't thought of the deeper meaning of the stories until your last episode, and with this addition it adds a whole new perspective.

Like Minchamber said, I think you lost the young "LOL EX DEE SO RANDUM" audience, but that's probably a good thing. I hope I can figure this thing out before I die. I've been watching your animations since I was a kid, and I thank you for still making them.

Oh, and my grandmother loves your cartoons too, especially "Men from up the Stairs"

you should make a salad fingers game!!! where you have to explore the land and make shure you hide rusty spoons and rusty items he can use!!! just saying i would play it over and over!!you should have to save his friends too!

I have watched all of your Salad Fingers episodes many many times. I even used to use some of his sentences in my tests for English back in highschool, to impress my teacher with the complex words. (English is not my mother tongue). I know almost all the episodes by hard.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I love watching Salad Fingers. Can you imagine how it felt for me to see a new episode was released after three years of absence? I really thought the series had ended.
I hope episode 10 of Salad Fingers will be released sooner than three years from now.

Nice job. I love the atmosphere and dark, absurd humour.

I'm surprised how viewer comments go on about how SF9 isn't the same as 1-8. Ugh. I guess NG users are so visual that they don't identify the audio as the most dramatic change - omitting the Boards of Canada loop probably bothered a lot of viewers, but original scores are important if you want the freedom to do what you want with your work. Is BofC (legally) cool with their audio being used in previous SF episodes?

Its been long since you made a Salad Fingers episode. Thank god you made episode 9 now though, i was starting to get worried.
